Tumaini Mentorship Day August 2017
Date: 19th August 2017 Time: 8.00 am to 2.00 pm Location: Karura Community Chapel
This is the material day when students in the Tumaini program meet with their mentors every once in three months during the school holidays.
The students and mentor first attend a session where current trends affecting students are discussed with the help of a facilitator. After the first seesion, the students are then mentored and during the mentorship, both menteer and mentors evaluate My Plan for Tomorrow and set new goals for the fourthcoming academic term.
The students, assisted by the program coordinator, also prepare for Tumaini Sunday which usually occurs after every metorship day .
Every student in the program is expected to attend and we welcome our mentors to participate.
